Delete your Stepray account and data

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Stepray: ADHD Planner & Timer is made by Abanoub Michael. You can delete your account and all your data yourself in the app, or ask us by email.

Delete your account and all your data

In the app:

  1. Open Stepray and go to the Me tab.
  2. Tap Privacy, then Your data.
  3. Tap Delete all your data, then Delete everything.

This deletes your data on the phone and on our server straight away, including your account and your Google or email sign-in. It can't be undone, so export a copy first if you want one.

No longer have the app? Email us from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We delete it with all its data within one month and reply to confirm. If you never signed in or never chose to keep a copy in your account, your tasks only exist on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes them.

What we delete

  • Your account, your Google or email sign-in and the name and photo that came with it
  • Your synced tasks, steps, routines and settings
  • The anonymous ID that counts your AI splits, and its weekly count
  • Your Stepray Plus customer record at RevenueCat, our payment processor
  • Your Stepray Plus status record on our server
  • On the phone: everything, including your medication reminder and its history, which never leave the phone

What we keep, and for how long

  • Purchase records at Google Play, which Google keeps under its own terms. Deleting your data doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play first.
  • Crash reports, only if you turned them on, which aren't linked to your account, for up to 30 days.
  • AI usage logs without your ID or task text for 90 days, and cached step suggestions, stored under a one-way code, for 7 days.
  • Usage statistics, only if you turned them on, for up to 1 year. They use a random ID, not your account, and deleting your data resets that ID. If page-view counting is turned on for this website, it uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
  • Server logs, such as IP addresses, which our hosting providers keep for a short time for security.

Delete some data and keep your account

  • Delete a task: it's removed from your phone and from your account. A blank marker that tells your other phones to remove it too is deleted after 90 days.
  • Turn off Keep a copy in my account in Me → Privacy: the copy of your tasks, routines and settings is deleted from our server and your phone keeps everything. If another phone signed in to the same account still keeps a copy, it uploads its tasks again, so turn it off on every phone.
  • Turn off Share usage statistics in Me → Privacy: collection stops and the random ID is reset.
  • Sign out in Me → Account and choose to remove your tasks from this phone. The copy in your account stays until you turn off Keep a copy or delete your account.
  • Ask us by email to delete specific data. We do it within one month and reply to confirm.
